About Steve

Steve was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Panama where his parents served as missionaries. After graduating high school he moved to Springfield MO to pursue his BA in Pastoral studies from Baptist Bible College and it was during this time Steve met his wife Melissa.  After receiving his degree, they were married in 2002 and have two wonderful boys, Caden and Lincoln.  Both Steve and Melissa have served in various ministry roles including children’s ministries, worship ministries, and small group ministries.  Steve has completed various Master’s level Biblical counseling classes and is pursuing his ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors) certification.
